Pack your basket! The Main Beach is just a 5 minutes walk from Brook Lane Cottages.
A beautiful white sand beach with blue crystal clear water. Beach parking and public washrooms available.
Cycling Trails
Saugeen Shores offers many different trails for cycling.
Saugeen Rail Trail has access points all over Saugeen Shores and is a well traveled former rail bed that stretches 8km from Port Elgin to Southampton.
Hiking Heaven
Situated on the coast of Lake Huron, Port Elgin's trails offer a wide selection of hiking experiences.
The trails are well maintained and signed to ensure that you're always on track!
Boardwalk
The Main Beach has a boardwalk to aid your feet from the hot sand.
The Port Elgin Marina
The Port Elgin Harbour is a municipally run marina offering both seasonal and transient slips to boaters. The harbour acts as a gateway to Saugeen Shores for our visiting boaters and a home away from home to our seasonal occupants.
The Wismer House
The Wismer House is a pub located at 705 Goderich Street.
They offer fresh food, made in house with several levels of entertainment geared to suit everyone and anyone no matter what you're in the mood for.
